I'm a Dutch native and occasionally work with international clients on marketing communications materials. That’s when I met Hester. At first, I thought she was British because she seemed like a fish in international waters! I always have a lot of ideas, but in fast-paced meetings, I often found myself struggling to catch up—by the time I figured out what I wanted to say, everyone had moved on!
So, we role-played meetings, practiced presentations, and worked on improving my confidence in speaking English for a couple of weeks. Gradually, I felt more confident speaking up.
